Physiotherapy

If you are experiencing a new pain or problem, or flare-up of an existing condition, Living Well Physiotherapy can provide personalised physiotherapy treatment and advice.

Initial appointments last for 1 hour to allow time for an in-depth assessment and first treatment. Following the assessment we will discuss with you the most relevant treatment choices and agree a treatment plan. If further sessions are required these will last between 30 and 45mins (depending on the treatment agreed). Home visits are also available and last 1 hour. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a home visit.

Ligament sprains
Muscle strains / tears
Sports injuries
Joint pain and loss of movement
Neck pain
Back pain
Sciatica
Pregnancy related problems
Post-surgery rehabilitation
Long term conditions included osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Treatments can include:

Pain management and advice
Rehab programme
Deep soft tissue massage
Trigger point release
Acupuncture
Joint mobilisations
Exercise classes (currently Pilates and Older Adults)

At Living Well Physiotherapy we are also keen to support people to increase their activity levels and improve their wellbeing. We encourage exercise for all ages.  As well as improving your physical capabilities – whether this is to achieve a sporting goal or to improve your balance and reduce the risk of falling, exercise has many other health benefits including:

  • Preventing osteoporosis (bone density starts to decline after 30 years old!),
